In a major embarrassment to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann who announced that BMW was setting up a manufacturing unit in Punjab, BMW India issued a statement claiming that it had no plans of setting up the manufacturing unit in Punjab there has been no reaction from the Punjab government yet on the BMW statement.
