New research suggests that there's a real economic value in extending the use of Auslan, with deaf and hearing impaired Australians likely to be better off by up to $12,000 a year as a result. Deaf connect CEO Brett Casey says investing in Auslan will also help connect the deaf community, with the rest of Australia.
