Katherine Arden scared us something wicked in this first of a series of YAmiddle grade horror novels following our three main characters; Ollie, Coco, and Brian.....and we loved it! These three get caught up in an old local legend that still exists and wants children, but they have some supernatural help and Ollie knows something is up because of a book she found that tells of missing people and a Smiling man.
