Australian Nursing Federation demands 10 per cent pay rise at stop work meeting in Perth

Nurses in Western Australia have launched a seven-week-long escalating campaign of industrial action until the government meets demands for nurse-to-patient ratios and better pay. Thousands of nurses and midwives walked off the job today for a stop work meeting where they voted on the plan and to double their requested pay rise.
