American conspiracy theorist and internet broadcaster Alex Jones has been ordered to pay Sandy Hook families more than one-and-a-half-billion dollars. New York Times journalist Elizabeth Williamson has written a book about the conspiracy theories surrounding the massacre. She says the families spoke up for all the vulnerable people who are targeted by lies spread on the internet.
