कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद (congress president post) के लिए 17 अक्टूबर को हुई वोटिंग में कुल 9385 डेलिगेट्स ने वोट डाले थे और आज कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद के लिए हुए चुनाव के आज नतीजे आ गए। जिसमें मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे जीत (Mallikarjun Kharge wins) गए हैं। मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने शशि थरूर (Shashi Tharoor) को अध्यक्ष पद के चुनाव में हरा दिया। कांग्रेस के नए अध्यक्ष बन (Mallikarjun Kharge New Congress President) गए हैं। मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे को 7897 वोट मिले, जबकि उनके खिलाफ चुनाव लड़ रहे शशि थरूर को 1072 वोट मिले।
