Bankrupt cryptocurrency lender Celsius Network faces US federal investigations, according to a filing from lawyers. According to Tuesday’s filing, is subject to enforcement proceedings in at least 40 states. Celsius disclosed CFTC, SEC, and FTC inquiries and a federal grand jury subpoena from the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Celsius became a popular crypto lender by paying users interest on their coin deposits. It froze withdrawals in June as crypto prices crashed and filed for bankruptcy in July.
