An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter Scale hit Pachmarhi, Jabalpur and adjoining districts of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a statement. However, there was no report so far of any loss of life or property.
