After attending an event at a temple in Shah Alam, Selangor on Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters that the Prime Minister had tasked him to chair a committee to monitor the works done to address the rising cost of living faced by the people.
