Sabbione in Switzerland is a real life hobbit town. This quaint Swiss village has buildings reminiscent of Hobbiton, the hobbit town in the film Lord of the Rings. Sabbione was built on a hill and some of the buildings were above or below large rocks. br br Sabbione is located in the Bavona Valley in the Canton of Ticino. It's a short drive from Locarno and Ascona.
