This Aachari Chicken Curry, with a blend of pickling spices and the perfect tangy flavor, tastes as good as it sounds.br br Ingredients: br br 1 ½ kg chicken piecesbr 1 tsp lime juicebr 1 tsp saltbr 3 tbsp mustard oilbr 1 ½ tbsp cooking oilbr 1 ½ tsp Bengali five spicebr 1 large onionbr 1 bay leafbr 2 small cinnamon sticksbr 5 cardamombr 7 clovesbr 1 tsp garlic pastebr 1 ½ tsp ginger pastebr 2 small tomatoesbr ½ tsp saltbr 1 tsp ground corianderbr 1 tsp red chilibr ½ tsp turmericbr 1 tsp cuminbr 3 tbsp yogurt + 1 tsp sugarbr 5 garlic clovesbr ½ tsp garam masalabr 5 green chiliesbr br Instructions:br br 1. Marinate chicken with salt and lime juice for 20 minutes br 2. Drizzle cooking oil and mustard oil in a pan br 3. Add five-spice, sliced onions and sauté until softbr 4. Add bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, cloves and fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrantbr 5. Add diced tomatoes, garlic, and ginger pastebr 6. Salt to taste, coriander, red chili, turmeric, and cuminbr 7. Sauté for 4-5 minutesbr 8. Add chicken pieces and fry for 6 minutes on high heatbr 9. Stir in the sugar yogurt mixturebr 10. Cook for 20 minutes on low heat with the lid on while occasionally stirring br 11. Add garam masala and garlic clovesbr 12. Cook for another 15 minutes on low heat with the lid onbr 13. Garnish with fresh green chiliesbr 14.
