The Tobago House of Assembly on Thursday revealed, they bailed out five hotels in Tobago, in the payment of their electricity bills. This follows T&TEC still charging the revenue capacity rates, during the COVID-19 pandemic. br br As a result some of these hotels were on the verge of being disconnected last year. The request was made by President of the Hotel and Tourism Association Chris James, via letter dated Janu24th 2022, and revealed by Chief Secretary Farley Augustine.
