On the third day of the search and rescue effort in earthquake-hit regions of southern Turkiye on Feb 9, Elena Akgol, a Ukrainian mother, and her four-year-old son Yuksel Akgol were pulled alive from a collapsed building in Iskenderun in Hatay province.
