PM: Malaysia will continue trade relations with China

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim held a joint press conference with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during the latter’s official visit to Malaysia on Friday. Anwar stressed that Malaysia will continue its trade relation with China as it’s an important trading partner.
To a question on what Malaysia could do to help German companies so that they would not be overdependent on China, Steinmeier said he is confident that German businesses would continue to grow in Malaysia after the country had seen over 65,000 jobs had been created by German companies over the decades.
