Japan donates P7-M worth of gymnastics equipment to PH

Young gymnasts from all over the country will now have a world-class facility to develop and hone their skills after the Japanese government donated $1133,835 (roughly P7 million) worth project to install top-of-the-line equipment to the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) on Friday, March 17, at the GAP training center inside the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.br br Koshikawa Kazuhiko, the Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines, and GAP President Cynthia Lagdameo Carreon led the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the opening of the gym featuring high-quality gear and equipment. Members of the gymnastics team performed an exhibition, and world-class gymnastics medallist Carlos Edriel Yulo and former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo also graced the event.
