Ionescu is the first women's basketball player with unisex signature collection for Nike. After becoming the NCAA's all-time leaders in triple-doubles as a star for the Oregon Ducks, Ionescu was the first overall pick in 2020 WNBA draft. Selected by the New York Liberty, Ionescu was limited to three games as a rookie because of an ankle injury. In her third professional season, she became the first WNBA player with a 30-point triple-double with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in a win at Las Vegas.
