This is a video I filmed on location duing an outboard engine survey of a Mercury Verado, 2.6 liter, in-line six cylinder, 250 HP supercharged outboard engine. The video goes through many of the steps and I conduct during an outboard engine survey. Some of these tests include: The sea trial, visual inspection of the outboard engine, marine engine diagnostics (with the laptop computer), borescope viewing of the exhaust manifold and cylinders, infrared thermal imaging of the outboard engine running, inductive testing of the ignition systems, and the oil sample analysis of the powerhead oil.
