The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday announced its bimonthly monetary policy and kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.50 per cent. The RBI’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) unanimously decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 6.50 per cent, governor Shaktikanta Das said, announcing the statement of monetary policy, the first in the current financial year.
