As many as four people died in a road accident that took place between a private bus and an SUV on National Highway 48 near Hirehalli village of Tumakuru, Karnataka on April 15. As per the Kyathasandra Police, the car was travelling from Bengaluru towards Tumakuru whereas, the private bus was going towards Bengaluru via Tumakuru from Sira. In the accident four people who were inside the car died on the spot, their bodies were sent to the Tumakuru District hospital for post mortem and police has registered a case after visiting the site.
