Despite warnings by the police, a rally concerning the use of the word “Allah” by non-Muslims went on as planned on Friday. The organisers namely PAS and Perkasa called on the Parliament to debate on the issue and the government’s move to withdraw an appeal against a High Court ruling allowing the use of the word by the non-Muslims.
