The announcement follows the HRC's issue of an FL travel notice, describing recent anti-LGBTQ+ legislation passed in the state.
It comes as Pride Month is in full swing all across the country.
It also comes as Republican-led state governments have introduced or passed legislation aimed at curtailing gender rights.
Violence against members of the LGBTQ+ community continues to make headlines.
The HRC has pledged to fight continued discrimination and violence.
