Zahid: Umno begins process of strengthening party with retreats

Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters at the end of the party’s general assembly on Saturday that the party had embarked on the process of strengthening its party members by having retreats.
He also revealed that the party had yet to receive any appeals filed by sacked members and that the party is only studying appeals made by those who had been suspended from Umno to return to the party.
