The government rewarded the national para swimming team with RM494,500 under the Sports Victory Prize Scheme (Shakam) - the highest among all the recipients - at the award presentation held at a hotel in Selangor on Wednesday night. Para swimmer Abd Halim Mohammad emerged as the biggest winner with five gold medals and a bronze medal in the Asean Para Games in Cambodia in May.
