India: The Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 which was launched on July 14 made a successful landing on the Moon’s surface on August 23, 2023. br br Following to USSR, the U.S., and China, India now joins this elite group as the fourth country to achieve a soft lunar landing.
