In the light of the recent earthquakes that destroyed thousands of lives in Morocco and Philippines and displaced several others, we look at what architectural changes an earthquake-prone country like Japan adopted over the last 100 years since the disastrous 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake to tame this natural calamity.
