Australia's medicine regulator is investigating several reports of intestinal issues in patients who have used the diabetes drug, Ozempic. It comes after the u-s regulator updated Ozempic’s labelling to warn of a gastro-intestinal side effect. There's now a global shortage of the drug, after it surged in popularity as a way to lose weight.
