Water fluoridation has been hailed as one of the ten great public health achievements of the 20th century. But more than a quarter of Queenslanders have no access to fluoridated water, after decision making on the divisive topic was handed to local councils a decade ago. Dentists and doctors say it's a public health failure and the Palaszczuk government should mandate fluoride treatment.
