One of South Australia’s top paediatricians remains in hospital in a critical condition after a violent home invasion. 61-year-old Michael Yung the head of the paediatric intensive care unit at Adelaide’s women and children hospital was found at a home in the inner-northern suburb of Gilberton yesterday with serious injuries. A 30-year-old man, who was also at the home at the time, was not injured.
