Rockerfeller Jr. and br was designed by Donald Deskey.br Completed at the height of the br Great Depression, Radio City br Music Hall was intended for ordinary br people to experience high-quality entertainment.br Popularly known as the host br theater for the high-kicking Rockettes, br the theater began as a first-run movie house.br Since 1933, more than br 700 films have premiered br at the entertainment palace.br By the 1970s, the venue began to host concerts br while continuing the Radio City Music br Hall Christmas Spectacular.
