On January 24, the halwa ceremony was held in the North block. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was present for the ceremony which marks the final stage of the budget preparation process. The Interim Union Budget 2024 will be presented by the Finance Minister on February 1. It is a customary ceremony performed every year. The Interim Union Budget 2024 will be delivered in paperless form, like the previous three full Union Budgets.
