Speaking to CGTN, Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó expressed his shock with remarks made by France’s Emmanuel Macron urging Ukraine and its allies to not be “cowards”. Stating “ in Hungary, we have been confronted with the consequences of this war,” Szijjártó expressed his hope for a prompt end to the conflict stating that “we also do understand that in this war, Ukraine cannot win over Russia.
