Federal government and Northern Territory announce $1 billion funding for public schools

Northern Territory public schools will receive an extra billion dollars in funding under a new agreement between the territory and commonwealth governments. The extra funding will be distributed over four years, from 2025. Federal government figures show almost half of territory students experience "low socio-economic advantage".
