A new restaurant promising to bring an unpretentious, accessible, yet ambitious dining experience is coming to Manchester this year.br br Talented northern-born chef Tom Barnes is opening Skof, a restaurant aiming to make local ingredients take centre-stage. br br Known for working in some of the best restaurants in the world, Tom is developing a range of deceptively simple dishes brimming with technique and full of flavour for the eatery - which will be his first solo venture.br br The new restaurant is opening in the city centre's NOMA neighbourhood in May, and Tom joined his mentor, three-Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan, as keynote speakers at this year's Northern Restaurant and Bar trade fair.
