Mathematically, slope is calculated as "rise over run" (change in y divided by change in x).br Equation of parabola, The general equation of a parabola is: y = a(x-h)2 + k or x = a(y-k)2 +h, where (h,k) denotes the vertex. The standard equation of a regular parabola is y2 = 4ax.br Equation of Circle, the general equation of a circle is (x – h)2 + (y – k)2 = r2, where (h, k) represents the location of the circle's center, and r represents the length of its radius.br Equation of hyperbola, Standard equation of the hyperbola is [(x2a2) – (y2b2)] = 1, where the X-axis is the transverse axis and the Y-axis is the conjugate axis.
