About 30 people, babies and the elderly alike, still live every day without basic amenities.
The families who live off the Torrib Tabaquite Road in South Trinidad, survive by using water from man-made ponds next to their houses.
Their homes are lit by pitch oil lamps and flambeau each night.
They say for decades they’ve asked and failed to get help from the authorities and it's why they shared their story with our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh recently……hoping someone in authority finally intervenes.
