Wisebuys Country Stores in Pembroke have thanked all their “wonderful customers” for helping them raise £750 for Greenacres Rescue.br The idea first started after seeing an appeal for donations by the local animal charity which has been so overwhelmed with vet fees and a massive influx of animals.br “We are huge animal lovers here at Wisebuys, so we came up with some ideas and got busy,” said a spokesperson. br “We had a raffle running the whole month of March to win massive sweetychocolate easter hamper. br Staff also held a fun fundraising week where they all dressed up in fancy dress. br “We had a lucky dip and face painter Sharon Clague, who was also a very lovely Easter bunny.
