Released in 2002 for the Sony Playstation 2 and Nintendo GameCube, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai blazed a trail for 3d anime fighters in the console space. Though dated by todays standards, there is no telling where series like Ultimate Ninja Storm and Dragon Ball Fighterz would be without the original Budokai.
