Two unidentified people on a motorbike opened fire outside actor Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai’s Bandra around 5 am on April 14. Salman and his family were at home during the incident. Recent updates suggest that Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has purportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting. Anmol, who is wanted in India and allegedly hiding in the US, posted on social media referring to the shooting as a mere "trailer" and issued a warning to the actor. Police have confiscated the motorcycle used in the attack, and the case has been handed over to the Crime Branch for further investigation.
