Hormel Foods is voluntarily recalling certain Planters honey-roasted peanuts and mixed nuts packages due to potential listeria contamination. The recalled products were shipped to Publix and Dollar Tree warehouses in Southeastern states. Listeria infection can cause serious illness, especially in pregnant women, newborns, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. The recall affects 4oz peanut and 8.75oz mixed nut packages with "best by" dates in 2025 and 2026. There have been no reported illnesses.
