A third place finish in the heats of the Olympics on debut. Well 17 year-old Zuri Ferguson has had a dream start to her career in sport. Competing in the women's 100 meter backstroke Ferguson put in a gritty effort in Paris, but her time was not good enough to advance to the semi-final.
