Malvinder Singh Kang: Panjab University, Chandigarh is one of India's most renowned institutions, producing great leaders and Olympic medalists. I urge the Central Government to provide a special grant to Punjab University and release the pending funds for the PM Shri and PM Poshan Scheme. Despite 58,000 higher education institutions in India, only 12 of students pursue PG, and just 0.5-0.6 go for PhD. This is a serious concern.
