Samsung is one of the leaders in pc storage and display tech , and makes some of the best NVMe SSD drives. But the 980 Pro suffers from a critical firmware defect that can leave your data unrecoverable. This computer is in my repair shop because it no longer boots due to a missing boot drive. Turns out the 980 Pro firmware corrupted the drive, and now it's unrecoverable.
