So, of course [I'm a better captain], the decorated paceman, who has snared 269 Test wickets, told listeners.br br br 'I've done it [captaincy] for two years, he [Clarke] did it for about five or so. br br 'I mean, he's got a pretty good record....he was also my captain when I first started playing [Test cricket].'br br Cummins made his Test debut in 2011 against South Africa at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg aged just 18.br br Remarkably, it was just his fourth career first-class match.br br He then replaced Tim Paine in November of 2021 as Australia's Test captain, and has overseen a golden period ever since.
