After a hard and hectic day yesterday, the riders will be faced with another tough stage today from Remiremont to Morteau. There are five classified climbs along the route for a total of 2234m elevation gain, and most of the ascents are longer than those raced so far. With 159.2km facing the riders and a lot of the elevation coming in the second half of the stage, it's going to be a wearing day.
