When he came to the service of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, he said: So-and-so's daughter (i.e. my wife) has asked me to give her son as her slave, and she has also said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, To make him a witness, he said: "Does he have other brothers?" He said, "Yes!"The Prophet ﷺ said: "Did you give what you gave to this boy to all of them?" I bear witness to the matter." Narrated by Muslim.
