Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment, a joint venture between MSG Networks and the YES Network, is launching the Gotham Sports app this fall. The app will allow subscribers to watch local games from seven New York-area teams, including the Knicks, Rangers, and Yankees. This marks the first time two regional sports networks have combined their apps into a single bundle. SportsNet New York, which airs Mets games, is not part of this venture.
