The report on the proposal for mandatory halal certification is nearing completion and is set to be presented to the Cabinet this Wednesday (Sept 18), says Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar.br br The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) said that a draft proposal to make halal certification mandatory for all food premises had also been prepared and will be presented at the upcoming Cabinet meeting.
