Video of the day | Museum of Impressionism in Giverny

French artist Claude Monet was one of the founders of Impressionist painting, and it was in the picturesque village of Giverny that he spent his most productive years. Now a new museum of Impressionist Art opened its doors on May the 1st next to the famous gardens which provided Monet with countless motifs. The museum will focus on the movement as a whole, but also on Monet as its most representative artist. Monet once said nothing in the world interested him as much as his painting and flowers, and thankfully today, visitors can still experience the place as he did.
