When a severed finger comes through the post to the police station, the authorities realize that koney will have to be found quickly in order to stop the kidnappers from losing patience. But hostage negotiator Simon fears what will happen if the IRA group sees the police there and arranges a different drop off plan with Geoffrey, Margaret and Andrew behind their back.
