Catholic Church wins appeal ruling it was vicariously liable for actions of Priest who abused 5-year-old in 1971

The Catholic Church has won a high court case limiting its liability for child sex abuse committed by a priest. Child abuse survivors and their advocates are worried about the consequences of the ruling which reverses a decision handed down by a Victorian court.
